Neighborhood Input Meetings

These meetings are designed to facilitate participation in the decision making process and to assist the public in gaining an informed view of a proposed project or item at any level of the project / item development process. Such a gathering may be referred to as a public information meeting or neighborhood input meeting and may be conducted by an applicant, not just the Village.

Thursday, June 14, 2018, 6:00 p.m. Public Input Meeting - A public meeting will be held to discuss a craft brewery and taproom use proposed by Peak View Brewery in an existing retail tenant space at 9672 E. Arapahoe Road (The Shops at Greenwood Village shopping center). The proposed use requires approval of a Special Use Permit prior to being established. Wednesday, June 13, 2018, 7:00 p.m Public Input Meeting: A public meeting is being conducted prior to the submission of two separate Site Development Plan applications for staff review and consideration by Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council. The proposal for 6165 S. Willow Drive consists of a 10-floor office building and a 6-floor parking garage. The intent for this parcel is to be a companion office building and parking garage to the office building and garage built in 2016-2017 that is directly to the south at 6175 S. Willow Drive. The proposal for 8880 E. Caley Avenue consists of a high-end hotel with approximately 175 rooms within 8 floors, a 6-story office building, a limited retail component, and a mix of surface and underground parking within a parking structure. Tuesday, June 5, 2018, 6:00 p.m. Public Input Meeting: A public meeting will be held to discuss proposed options for a 30-35'-foot tall telecommunications facility at the southwest corner of Dayton and Orchard Road within Silo Park. Potential options include a tower disguised as a monopine tree that uses synthetic pine tree branches and bark facing to look like a pine tree or a replacement of the existing traffic signal at the intersection with the capacity for a future streetlight. Support equipment would be housed in a nearby walled enclosure. The final design of the facility has not been determined and will be based on public input. Thursday, May 10, 2018, 5:30 p.m. Public Input Meeting - A public meeting will be held to discuss a proposed replacement 30-foot-tall telecommunications tower to be located in City right-of-way near the southwest corner of Orchard Road and Holly Street. The proposal would replace the existing pole of similar size located 8 feet to the west. The pole would support wireless telecommunications equipment for two carriers. The development proposal is for the expansion of the church (Special Use Permit) and the subdivision of the property to include a 2 lot residential subdivision (Planned Unit Development and Subdivision Plat). Public Input Meeting - A public meeting will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2107 at 6:00 pm in the Pikes Peak Room at the Greenwood Community Church to discuss a proposed 4-foot increase to the height of the six building parapets (pillars) on the north and west side of the church building to accommodate replacement telecommunications antenna for T-Mobile operations. Monday, September 25, 2017, 6:00 p.m Public Input Meeting - A public meeting will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at 6787 S. Emporia Street, to gather input on a proposed Special Use Permit (SUP) at this address. The proposed SUP will allow the applicant different uses on the site, such as vehicle repair and light manufacturing. There will be no changes to the zoning, which is currently Mixed Commercial (MC).
